AnywhereCommerce CEO Mitchell Cobrin to Present at CARTES America

Session Discusses How Providers Can Leverage Mobile POS Solutions To Address Changing Business Dynamics

MONTREAL, May 8, 2014 – AnywhereCommerce, a global payments technology provider, announced that Mitchell Cobrin, the company’s co-founder and chief executive officer, will deliver a presentation at CARTES America, the leading conference for participants in the card and payments ecosystem. The event is scheduled for May 13-15 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. Cobrin’s session, “Integrating Mobile POS in an Omni-Channel World,” is set for May 13 at 3 pm.

In his presentation, Cobrin will describe how the growing interest in mobile payments among consumers is driving merchant service providers to identify new ways to successfully tap into this changing dynamic. Among the topics he intends to cover include the mechanics necessary for accepting payment on mobile devices, as well as various strategies for integrating payments with mobile marketing, loyalty and other services that lead to increased sales and improved customer satisfaction.

“I am delighted to speak at CARTES America, which has rapidly evolved into one of the most influential and well attended conferences in our industry,” said Cobrin. “The attention that the CARTES organizers are paying to mobile payments illustrates the appeal that this technology has on all participants in the mobile ecosystem. With all the excitement, there are still an overwhelming number of providers who have very fundamental concerns with regard to deploying these solutions. I am looking forward to sharing  AnywhereCommerce’s knowledge and experiences to help attendees  understand how they can easily integrate mobile payment acceptance to improve their own business performance.”
