Cloud POS

Using the cloud approach, payment terminal devices are connected to the internet via Wi-Fi and are controlled via standard HTTPS requests which can be done from any platform connected to the internet, including web browsers.

This removes the need for a physical connection to the POS application and means that cardholder data is never exposed to the POS application, significantly simplifying integration and alleviating diligence concerning PCI standards.
